The facilities we have on site at King Richard Court to ensure that you have everything you need.
Guest Suite
Having a guest suite is a real advantage for Owners who have friends or family who visit. The fee is relatively low and has the benefit of being on-site. Bookings are made via the main office.
24/7 Management Staff
Experienced and friendly staff are available to assist and set an Owners mind at ease when needed. At least one of a team of Duty Manager is on duty from 8.00am until 10.00pm, and is on call for emergencies throughout the night. At King Richard Court we do not use an outside call agency. When an Owner pulls a ‘pull cord’ or activates a pendant, they speak to one of the staff that they know who will reassure them or take appropriate action.
Lounge & Function Rooms
The communal lounge and sometimes the conservatory is used throughout the day for concessionary tea and coffee. The lounge is also used for a variety of activities, anything from film nights to indoor bowls, to choir practice or keep fit. The games or hobbies room, is used for painting, small meetings or cards etc.
Library
The library is located on the first floor. It has been created by Owners donating books and is run by a small team of volunteers. Some Owners find the location a convenient place to sit and chat with neighbours and friends.
Gardens
Although the grounds at King Richard Court are not extensive, they are both well-loved and well-maintained, and do allow Owners and any visitors to enjoy the sunshine or shade, especially in the large sheltered patio area.
